Access from the sea
Access to Vikati harbor is from Papissaare harbor via a marked fairway. Please note that the shallowest depth in the fairway at normal water levels is 0.8 meters (Käkisilm). The harbor is formed by a WSW projecting main pier, connected to the mainland. The harbor is not protected from the strong S winds.

Visit
Vilsandi is the westernmost inhabited island of Estonia, which is also a national park. Orchids, distinctive vegetation, limestone outcrops, numerous waterfowl and seals are characteristic of the island. Vaika bird reserve, the predecessor of the national park, is one of the oldest nature reserves in Europe. Vilsandi island is ideal for hiking – beautiful nature, couple of homestays, RMK rest areas, a lookout tower and a lighthouse.
