Venø Harbour is located on a small Danish island in the north of Jutland.
Almost 100 years ago Venø Harbour was established by the island´s fishermen and farmers to serve as a fishing port. It was modernized in 2003 and again in 2009-10. Today, sailboats and individual anglers characterize the scene. There is a café and shop in the harbour house, which offers a range of local specialties as well as various kiosk items and necessities.
The Venø island is a popular holiday destination with cozy beaches, lovely landscapes and all camping facilities. The only village nearby is Venø By in the centre of the island. It is a home of Denmark’s smallest church built in the middle of the 16th century.
