Skovshoved Havn is beautifully situated on an idyllic old fishing village of Skovshoved in the north of Copenhagen.
The history of the fishing village in Skovshoved dates back to the medieval period. The current harbour took shape in 1935. The harbour was expanded to about double its size in 2015. Today, the harbour holds about 620 berths in the water and 200 dinghy berths on land.
Skovshoved is an active harbour, with several sea sports clubs, a well-visited trailer ramp and an attractive recreational area. At the harbour, you will find a selection of both restaurants and cafes. If you want to explore the area, there is beautiful nature, an amusement park (“Dyrehavsbakken”) and cultural experiences nearby. You can choose between several wonderful locations for taking a dip in the ocean as well. Copenhagen city centre is about 10 km away and can be reached by public transport 10 min. walk from the harbour.
