About
Roskilde marina is located at the bottom of Roskilde Fjord – a stunning nature gem that stretches over 40 km from the entrance at Isefjord and down to Roskilde.
The marina provides all the basic facilities including diesel supply, slipway, crane, rigging-sheers, BBQ area, playground, toilet, and shower. It also has a newly built marina house which offers showering facilities and one of the most beautiful views of the fjord.
There are 30 small islands and islets in the fjord which are rich in bird and local plant life. Roskilde Fjord has an International Conservation Status and is an EU Bird Protection Area, Natura 2000. Roskilde and Lejre are rich not only in various unique nature experiences but also in cultural, musical, and historical ones. To name just a few, you may check out Roskilde Festival, a Rock Museum, Roskilde Cathedral, ‘Sagnlandet Lejre’, the Viking Ship Museum, and the national park Skjoldungelandet.
