About
Gråsten Havn is a cozy little marina located between the Flensburg Fjord and Nybøl Nor. You have to pass the Egernsund Bridge which opens once every hour to enter the marina.
The marina has the most needed facilities (e.g. toilet, shower, power, barbecue, etc.) as well as bicycles for rent. For shopping, there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
Gråsten is best known for the Gråsten Palace, which is the summer residence of the Danish Royal Family. The castle garden and the castle church are open to the public and are worth a visit with its beautiful location.
If you want to get some exercise, the beautiful hike along the Gråstenstien can be recommended. The route is approximately 9 km long and goes through the city, along the marina and into the forest behind the castle.
