About

Cork City Marina is located alongside the South Custom House Quay at the head of Cork Harbour, on the River Lee and at the heart of Cork City. The marina is a convenient pontoon berth that specifically welcomes leisure craft into the heart of the historic and nationally important city of Cork.

From arrival in the marina, visitors will be immersed in Cork’s maritime heritage that integrates history including the home of the Oldest Yacht Club in the World, founded in 1720. Cork’s story is anchored in one of the world’s greatest natural harbours and stretches around the globe. The Coat of Arms of the Port is “Statio Bene Fida Carinis” (Safe Harbour for Ships). A visit to Cork Harbour opens up to visitors a number of impressive heritage sites associated with Cork’s Maritime Heritage and are accessible by visiting boats.

With lots of sailing and rowing clubs dotted throughout the area, excellent fishing and picturesque harbour-side paths for walking, running or cycling, there is something for everyone to enjoy in and around the marina.
