About

Bisserup Havn is a small idyllic marina located on the southern coast of Zealand between Stigsnæs and Karrebæksminde. It is situated on the eastern border of Holsteinborg Nor, towards Smålandsfarvandet it goes on to Glænø and Øster Fed (protected area).

There is a fishbar, inn, icecream parlor, camping site and a playground at the marina. East of the marina there is a beautiful beach. Along the Nor there are fields and a forest which make for a lovely walk. The walk could lead to the beautiful Holsteinborg Castle. It is possible to borrow bikes, a canoe and two kayaks from the club. You could then take a trip to Holsteinborg North which is a great place for bird lovers. The local supermarket “Brugsen” is around 1 km away. Every friday and saturday there is a fish auction at the marina.

When sailing to Bisserup Havn, make sure to keep clear of Bisserup Hage east of the landfall buoy and the waterway. You should also make sure to stay clear of the ecological trout farm. From the landfall buoy there is a red/white barrel approx. 0.3 sea miles S of the waterways start – keep corse 11.6 degrees to the waterway. There are three red and three green sticks to mark the sides.

Due to tides, currents of approx 2 sea miles occur. Notice the moored vessels for indication on the direction of the current. See a video on how to safely enter the marina here: www.bisserupsejlklub.dk
