About
Augustenborg marina is a small marina located in quiet and scenic surroundings of Augustenborg town on Als Island. The town lies at the head of Als Fjord providing the marina with natural shelter from winds.
The marina is very close to various tourist attractions including a Rococo-style Augustenborg Palace as well as its Baroque-style garden, which in the 19th century was transformed into a landscaped park. You may spend your afternoon in the lovely park under Hans Christian Andersen´s favourite linden tree and enjoy the view over the water. Augustiana – an international art park and art gallery – is also within walking distance as well as many shopping opportunities for those in need.
At the former commercial port along the quay, there is good water depth and the possibility to dock for longer boats. If you have a rubber boat, you can sail under the bridge and into the innermost part of the fjord.
