ASC Kappeln

About

Arnisser Segelclub is a marina situated in Kappeln, Schleswig Holstein, on the north bank of the Schlei inlet, near the Baltic Sea. The marina is located in Germany’s northernmost part, close to the Danish islands, giving its guests a perfect opportunity to travel around the Baltic Sea to the nearby country.

The ASC Kappeln marina has well-protected guest berths which are about 2.5 – 4.5 m in depth, and can accommodate yachts up to 15m in hights and 5m in width.

Kappeln offers you various exciting attractions like the Harbour Museum and Schlei Museum dedicated to fishing in the area, the herring fence in the Schlei, one of the last places in Europe where the method is used, or the Baroque St. Nikolai Church from the 18th century. The bascule bridge separating Angelner and Schwansener shores is one of the city’s main sights, while Schleswig Holsteins tallest mill located here is Amanda Dutch Mill, a 30 meters high construction which holds a tourist info point.
