It was a hot summer day. I was sitting on the dock with my wife eating an ice-cream and watching yachts swaying peacefully. We noticed the harbour master making his rounds collecting cash from visitors, suddenly he got interrupted by a boater who started talking loud words at him. I realised that since the marina was very crowded, the boater’s yacht was blocked by another yacht whose owner disappeared somewhere, and the former boater and his family couldn’t leave the marina.
Always dreaming of creating something that would make a positive change worldwide and being a boating enthusiast myself, I saw potential for an improvement here! It was the very beginning of an exciting journey meeting boaters and marina personnel from across the world, trying to understand their challenges and needs.
Now we have created a solution which will digitalise and connect the world’s marinas and boaters as well as make boating a breeze!
